I am an early childhood consultant based in the Comox Valley, BC, with a deep belief that nature and belonging are not luxuries — they are necessities for every child's development.
I bring 20+ years of experience in education to my consulting work. Over the years, I have served as a childcare provider, kindergarten educator, educational assistant, and ECE mentor — guiding educators and families in building spaces where every child feels seen, valued, and connected.

Living and working in the Comox Valley means being surrounded by one of the most extraordinary natural environments on Vancouver Island. The farmland, the forests, the shoreline, the misty mornings — these are not just scenery. They are daily teachers.
This place shapes how I think about early childhood spaces. Every consultation, audit, and training is informed by a deep respect for the land, the ecosystems, and the K'ómoks First Nation and other Indigenous communities whose relationship with this territory stretches back thousands of years.

Honouring this Place
I respectfully acknowledge that I live, learn, and work on the traditional, unceded territory of the K’omoks First Nation, the traditional keepers of this land. Known as the ‘Land of Plenty’, this region has been stewarded by the Sahtloot, Sasitla, Ieeksun, and Puntledge peoples since time immemorial. I respect their ancient and ongoing connection to these lands and waters. I am dedicated to listening, learning, and deeply embedding the principles of truth, reconciliation, and belonging into my practice with children, educators, and communities.
